From live market data to a simulated trade
PaperTrader combines Solana token discovery, current price data, executable quote checks, and a simulated wallet. You make the decision; PaperTrader records the modeled result without sending a real transaction.
1. Find a Solana token
Browse tokens using live market data, open a token, and inspect its chart and market information. Token metadata, prices, and routeability come from third-party Solana data and quote providers.
2. Choose a simulated order
Select a paper wallet, enter a position size, and choose a market or limit order. The balance is simulated SOL. The paper-trading flow does not ask you to fund a wallet or sign a blockchain transaction.
3. Model the execution
For a market order, PaperTrader checks whether an executable quote is available and refreshes the price before recording the trade. If the move exceeds the selected slippage tolerance, the simulated order is rejected. Modeled trading costs are included in the result.
A limit order reserves the relevant simulated balance or tokens. It remains open until its conditions are met and an executable quote is available, or until it is cancelled or expires.
4. Review the outcome
PaperTrader updates the simulated wallet, position, trade history, and performance analytics. The useful part is the review: compare the original decision with the outcome and decide what rule you would keep or change on the next practice run.
Guest access and saved progress
Guest access lets you try the simulator without committing to a profile. An account is used to preserve progress and make the practice history available across sessions. Learn more about the product on the Solana paper trading guide.
Practice before the stakes are real
Start with simulated SOL, make a trade, and review what happened. No wallet deposit is required for the paper-trading experience.
